Ryan Erickson is Director, Impact Advisory at Social Finance, a national impact finance and advisory nonprofit working across the public, private, and social sectors to build innovative partnerships and investments that measurably improve lives. He was previously the Chief of Staff at the Rhode Island Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities & Hospitals (BHDDH), where he advanced metrics-driven approaches for strengthening state health and human services programs in addition to leading many of the Department's core operational functions. He joined BHDDH after serving as a policy advisor to Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo on healthcare and criminal justice, a campaign strategist for Center for American Progress, and an advisor to New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg on gun policy, immigration reform, and marriage equality. He is a graduate of Northwestern University and the 2011-12 New York City Urban Fellows Program.
