I received my education in urban forestry from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where I was exposed to a deeper understanding of trees and our natural resources, but it also showed me I had a lot more to learn. As an extension of my education experience, I went on to pursue a career in arboriculture and urban forestry, where I have been employed professionally since 2006. I have also pursued further industry accreditation, such as becoming an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist and Municipal Specialist to continue my personal education and development.Since entering the field of arboriculture and urban forestry, I have fulfilled a number of positions including inventory arborist, project manager, plant health care and lawn care technician, sales arborist, and most recently, Project Developer. In my current role, I work with local tree and land managers to help them improve their programs and achieve their natural resource goals.
