I've enjoyed a diverse career as a software engineer working on a variety of systems including drone automation for ski resorts, weather and traffic data applications, ski rental platforms, internal tools, and more. I have been working in full-stack engineering and engineering + leadership roles for more than a decade, and am equally comfortable on the frontend and the backend.In my current role, I'm thoroughly enjoying expanding my knowledge in UAS and IoT while working on product which automates drone operations and provides end-users with a streamlined UI for requesting automated drone missions in the mountains.I have worked in a variety of technologies and consider myself tool-agnostic, though I have the most experience in Ruby on Rails, Svelte, React, PostgreSQL, and similar stacks.I value choosing tools and teams which optimize for developer productivity, provide sharp knives and strong conventions, ship early and iterate quickly, and are excited to continue progressing the web platform.I am also a competitive freeskier and love camping, exploring, and learning new things.
