For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be a physician. Then, about 2 years into my medical school experience, I realized that was no longer the path I wanted to follow, so I made the difficult decision to stop and take a step back and think about what I truly wanted to do with my life. I still enjoy and respect the medical field in general, and I have a passion for helping others. Empathy has always been one of my greatest strengths, as well as both being able to lead and follow others. I've always been a people person; I can connect with almost anyone and make them feel comfortable. I hope to take these skills and the knowledge I've accumulated over the years with my education and find a career path that allows me to help those in need and make the world a better place.
