• Managed a 97 room, full service, all suite hotel. Implemented high impact sales and marketing initiatives resulting in increased occupancy and profitability. Monitored and managed rates and inventory using OnQ PMS and OnQ R&I. Fostered strong working relationships with all hotel department heads. Managed the day-to-day tactical and long term strategic activities within the property. Reduced and controlled expenses by improving resource allocation. Reviewed and approved billing invoices and expense reports. Coached and mentored a team of 55 staff members by offering constructive feedback and taking interest in their long term career growth.

• Responsible for all departments at the hotel including a full service food and beverage program. Recruiting, hiring and training of new employees for all departments. Oversee a total of 55 employees in daily operational tasks. Prepare end of month reports for GM approval including F&B costs, linen and terry inventories, tax exempt documents and accounts receivable. Monitor and implement action plans to improve departmental POR costs. Implemented and currently use a thorough training program targeted at resolving even the most difficult customer issues. Organize billing and invoice data, prepare accounts receivable and expected revenue reports for the hotel controller. Assist with payroll preparation and enter data into a cumulative payroll document using both Hotel Effectiveness and Mpay software.
