• Lead Kaizen activities to reduce setup time and increase 1st pass yield from 93% to 98% within a 24/7 thermoforming processes. Conduct training as a result of all process, safety, and tooling improvements to be implemented in production areas. • Develop new production processes to manufacture medical devices, packaging solutions & thermoformed trays per ISO-13485 requirements in a contract manufacturing facility. The majority of these processes are executed in a Class 7 & 8 Clean rooms. • Work daily with production operators to troubleshoot quality & processing issues on thermoforming production lines. This includes developing standard setup processes, design tooling & develop best practices to eliminate waste in the process.

• Develop new assembly processes to manufacture train doors, door operators & HVAC systems. Design new tooling, work supportsurfaces, work cells & flow of work through area for most efficient assembly operations for contracts totaling $5MM annually. • Conduct training as a result of all process changes, safety improvements, & tooling improvements to be implemented in production areas to push all cells 1st pass yield to above 99% within my functional areas. • Package entire production cell for transportation to manufacturing operations in Mexico or California and turn-key setup onsite. Setup work cell with onsite production operators and train onsite assemblers and/or engineers to continue manufacturing operations as they had been designed and inspected during customer’s First Article Inspections at Plattsburgh, NY operations. • Work daily with production operators in 3 manufacturing plants to troubleshoot existing production lines to improve given assembly processes or diagnose and repair broken processes and tooling as required. This includes conducting root cause investigations, updating Non-conformance Reports for internal process improvements, as well as into customer Quality Databases to prevent re-occurrence.

• Lead 5S, Setup Reduction and Continuous Improvement activities to improve operational efficiency in both Assembly and Machining cells• Daily support of Machining & Assembly teams to specify tooling for various machining & assembly operations in pump manufacture. Correct drawing issues & work with Design Engineering to modify drawing to improve manufacturing efficiencies. This work is across all new units, spare parts, & service repairs of HTI motors totaling $23MM/yr. in supported revenue.• Work in Quality team to reduce Non-Conforming parts and other quality issues across all product lines to improve the operational efficiency & profitability. • Develop Metrics & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure company performance against a set standard.

Lead Lean kaizen events & implementation to improve material flow within the work cell or to improve quality of these products that are made in the cell. Use value stream mapping and spaghetti diagrams to examine this work and material flow. Develop, maintain & update production processes to maintain ISO9001:2008 standards. Write and release of new production processes & work instructions as required for new existing product lines to direct employees to perform essential job functions.Manufacturing engineer for two product lines & oversight of the product quality for each product line totaling $1.5MM in sales. Update and revise production work instructions as required to improve efficiencies & quality. Work with multiple departments to coordinate the raw materials, human resources, and tooling/processes required to manufacture custom linear & rotational motors & gyroscopes.Inspection of incoming and outgoing products, guidance of others thru these activities, to ensure high quality customer requirements. Refining of processes to instruct in these inspections & enhancement of product quality.Collection and analysis of quality data to evaluate product line performance & metrics on an ongoing basis. Utilize this data to drive root cause analysis and to improve production processes/tooling to improve production yields.

Lead new product development teams to develop new decking & railing products. Perform prototype trials in a research & development setting, then bringing the successful products to manufacturing to lead manufacturing trials.Successfully lead new product development team to bring new decking products to market totaling >$10MM in sales in their first year. Use of Six Sigma practices and Design of Experiments to develop optimal product performance. Train production personal to operate within these optimum ranges to begin manufacturing new products developed.These practices are also used within a Corrective Actions system to solve quality issues in new and existing product lines.Supervision of Development Technicians through testing and process development activities. Train these technicians to perform new testing as needed to ascertain the performance in product development activities.
