Experienced in coordinating and deconflicting schedules between cross functional teams at scale.Currently:• Provide technical support to all combustion turbine (CT) sites regarding operational, maintenance, or other issues.• Provide engineering expertise to plant and department personnel during routine maintenance activities, performance testing, and plant projects.• Provides outage and/or project management responsibilities associated with maintenance outages and capital funded projects at combustion turbine sites. Includes preparing specifications with detailed scopes of work and divisions of responsibilities, identifying qualified bidders, evaluating bids, scheduling work, administering contracts, providing job oversight, review and approving final reports.• Develop justifications, scopes of work, and material/service requisitions to support outage and capital projects.• Perform inspections and condition/performance assessments of combustion turbine plant components on a routine basis and during outages to identify reliability, availability, and efficiency losses. Develop scopes of work for component repairs. Review component repair progress in repair shop(s).• Determine and recommend action to correct or minimize equipment deficiencies, reduce operating costs, and improve equipment reliability and availability.• Develop long-range, short-term, and predictive maintenance plans for combustion turbines.• Investigate equipment failure and analyze root cause for combustion turbine equipment and/or systems. Determine and recommend appropriate corrective action(s).• Provide quality assurance checks during maintenance outages and projects in order to ensure compliance with established industry standards, procedures, and adherence to sound engineering practices. Demonstrate the ability to address emergent issues with expedience while maintaining schedules and adhering to budget constraints.• Perform design work associated with projects which result in plant modifications. Mark up drawings to reflect as-built configuration.• Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and vendors to ascertain parts availability for equipment indicated by life assessment programs. Determine repair/replacement options and make recommendations to plant and department staff.
