I began my career in transportation as an owner operator with Prime Inc. After almost 3 years of over the road experience I began searching for something closer to home. I started working for a local Motor-coach company (Abbott Bus Lines) as a driver, and soon became the trainer. I trained drivers up until Covid took a toll on the passenger transportation industry. I proceeded back into the truck Industry where I drove and delivered for Coca Cola consolidated. After over a year with Coca Cola I went back to Abbott to later establish and grow their training program to take on candidates who didn’t possess a CDL. I spent a total of almost 5 years with Abbott; with the exception of Covid. I currently own and partially operate a CDL training company that provides BTW Range and BTW Road training, all while serving as the Safety Manager for Petroleum Carriers. Over my career I have worked with Trucks, Motor Coaches, School Buses, Reefer Trailers and now Hazmat Tankers. I enjoy learning new sides of the transportation industry and helping ensure the safety of my drivers, and the traveling public! Safety is where my passion is and always has been. I target safety practices by building relationships with my drivers so they understand that I have been in their role and I’m not here to judge them, but to teach and coach them to be better.
