- Worked in the Visionaire group designing and producing patient matched cutting blocks for use in total knee arthroplasties (TKA)-Technical expert in the development and use of the TKA cutting blocks-Regional mananging engineer and direct point of contact and technical assistance for surgeons using Visionaire cuttings in Canada, the UK, Mainland Europe, South Africa, Japan, Malaysia and Indonesia-Active in project groups shouldered with the responsibility of optimizing and standardizing the Visionaire process for developing TKA blocks

I worked on a grant sponsored by the Department of Defense. The goal of the project was to develop a chitosan calcium sulfate resorbable dual delivery system for antibiotics and growth factors in order to prevent infection and stimulate healing in catastrophic orthopedic injuries. Responsibilities: Constructing chitosan microspheres, assembling microspheres into scaffolds, performing cell culture experiments, mechanical compression and density tests, assisting in bacterial inhibition experiments, assisting in data analysis and graphics production, and general lab work.
