District DesignWorks is a small design-build firm specializing in bespoke woodwork and metal fabrication. We are highly qualified in CAD/CAM fabrication and design techniques. The focus is mostly on free standing furniture, but we have the capability and expertise to design and prototype a wide range of products

Students work through the entire design and fabrication process beginning with sketches, then drawings, models, CAD models and finally the final finished product. Examples of student work are available.

Plan, pack and execute excursions for participants. Activities ranged from bicycling the C and O Canal to backpacking the Appalachian Trail.

Manage staff, organize and place orders, repair bicycles, maintain rental fleet, repairs range from basic indexing to replacing bottom brackets and truing wheels on a wide range of brands and years.
