Currently employed as a software engineer at Skidata. Developing and maintaining .NET core applications and Docker microservices for professional sports teams across the NBA, NFL, MLB, etc. Transitioning a DNN monolith to a modern series of .NET core microservices. Building and managing integrations with several payment processing companies and ticket providers. Working with clients to build and launch new Loyalty programs with maintainable and reusable features.Previously employed at Umpqua Bank. Creating micro service web API's using C#, ASP .Net core and Angular for any web development. Any spare time is devoted to learning new languages and platforms or keeping up with the ever expanding world of technology. Graduated from Portland State University as an honors student with a CS degree in September of 2018.I am a hardworking, creative person with a love for international travel, meeting new people, soccer, German beers, and learning new things. My professional interests are in wired networking protocols, open source software, client/server architecture, communication networks, systems programming, and object oriented system design.As a computer science student I focused on: learning current popular technologies (such as angular), becoming a team player when developing software in a group, communicating CS concepts effectively with other CS students and people in non-tech fields, gaining the ability to learn new technologies quickly as needed, and writing high quality, understandable code.During my time in university I worked a number of jobs to prepare myself for industry: tech support, CS grader, CS tutor, and an after-school instructor for programming basics. After working and leaving many jobs during my undergrad to accommodate my class schedule, I hope to find a career at a company were I can stay put for a while as I grow as a computer scientist.
