After graduating high school, my path led me to the United States Navy, where I served for 4.5 of the most incredible years of my adult life. I separated with an Honorable Discharge in 2019 and began to explore my career options as a civilian. I joined the team at Lowe’s as a Scheduling Staffing Administrator, then moved back to my roots as a dog trainer with K9s For Warriors, and then began to develop my sales skills as an Automotive Sales Consultant at Parks of Gainesville. I moved back to Brooklyn Park, Minnesota where I was born and raised in June 2023 and I began working at REI Maple Grove in September 2023, where I can put my skills as a salesperson to use, while also surrounding myself with my passion of the outdoors and the gear involved. I also started working toward my BA in English and a Creative Writing minor at the University of Minnesota, with dreams of one day becoming a published author.
