The Commercial Leadership Program (CLP); a global talent pipeline for GE, is a two-year rotational program that supports the rapid development of commercial operations, marketing, and sales skills at GE. The program provides the technical expertise of a digital industrial company with the functional skills that are critical to success in all GE businesses. 4th Rotation: Vancouver, WA - Hybrid Sales/Technical Proposal Manager (May 2017 - August 2017) - In charge of developing technical proposals and Job Cost Estimates for customers by working with both the Commercial and Operations team to offer the best solution. - Maintain customer relationships throughout bidding process and making sure all customer needs are met.3rd Rotation: Anaheim, CA - Technical Proposal Manager (Oct 2016 - May 2017) - In charge of developing technical proposals and Job Cost Estimates for customers by working with both the Commercial and Operations team to offer the best solution. - Manage Terms & Conditions discussions to make sure GE and customer are both legally covered for projects and work. - Serve as a Primary Commercial Resource for a team of regional sales resources (8 people) and kept up-to-date metrics on all proposals in bidding process through use of SalesForce.2nd Rotation: Evansville, IN - Repairs Specialist (March 2016 - Oct 2016) - Operated as a repairs specialist resource for motors, generators, and switch gear for the Commercial and Operations team. - Created Commercial resources to improve sales managers hit/win rates with regional customers and identified key customers for commercial team to target.1st Rotation: Charlotte, NC - Field Service Engineer (Aug 2015 - March 2016) - Worked as a Field Service Engineer, working on-site projects and outages for regional customers, including preventative maintenance and service of electrical distribution equipment, as well as installation and commissioning of new equipment.

Member of mechanical engineering team focused on designing mechanical solutions for limited access facilities in both the public and private sector. Applied technical knowledge and design creativity to mechanical, electrical, security and telecommunications infrastructure through design and commissioning services. Performed on-site assessments for existing and updated conditions of new and renovated facilities. Developed project plans, schedules, and deliverables for customers. Performed engineering calculations and select correct equipment for sizing and systems.

I served as a photographer for the NCSU Student Media taking assignments for both Technician and Agromeck. I served as Deputy Photo Editor for Technician (Jan 2013 - Sept 2013), Co-Photo Editor for Agromeck (Sept 2013 - Jan 2014), and Photo Editor for Agromeck (Dec 2014 - May 2015). Photographer duties included receiving and executing photo assignments on a deadline basis (responsible for editing and captions for publication). Editor duties included facilitating training for the photo staff, leading weekly staff meetings, holding office hours, working with design and publication team to select photos for use, and editing selected photos for publication.

Working on the Drive Systems team, I assisted senior engineers in performing Engineering Investigations of military aircraft by identifying, analyzing and solving problems. I applied knowledge and skill to actual in-shop work to analyze and evaluate facts needed for engineering decisions. Independently, I wrote engineering manual changes for future engineering work.

The IAC performs free energy audits to small industrial businesses in the North Carolina area by allowing N.C. State student engineers to visit their facility and see how their processes work. While visiting the facility, energy using devices (compressors, lighting, HVAC, etc.) are all looked at and analyzed for how to save energy in these devices. Solutions are developed and offered in terms of energy and money saved through payback periods. Work for the IAC combines mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering applications.

I worked for the NNIN REU program in the NEST lab at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I worked under my mentor, Dr. Virendra Singh, and PI, Dr. Baratunde Cola, by conducting ongoing research on fabricating polymer CNT hybrid structures for use as a Thermal Interface Material. I worked independetly in a class 10-1000 cleanroom and am trained and proficient on the Zeiss Ultra-60 Scanning Electron Microscope, Denton Electron-Beam Evaporator, and Black Magic PECVD. I also presented my research and paper (“Electrochemical Deposition of Polythiophene onto Carbon Nanotube Arrays”) at national NNIN research forum in Washington D.C. (August 2012).

I worked two summers for CPM from May to September in 2010 and May to August in 2011.
