Pauper and Poet is a musical act playing mostly solo acoustic songs consisting of both covers and original tracks.

I worked as a teaching assistant at various schools around Bristol either on a 1-to-1 basis with a student requiring additional support or assisting the class with general tasks.

While including all the responsibilities of a Site Operative, this role also includes testing the manufactured limestone product in various ways (Chloride levels, Strength/Density tests ETC.) ensuring it is within specifications and of the highest quality. This role also includes basic reception duties; booking deliveries and collections, taking phone calls, and filling out paperwork both digitally and physically.

My role includes monitoring the production lines, keeping the plant tidy, and operating and monitoring the computer system that runs the plant. I also oversee the deliveries of ash and cement to silos. Routinely check the plant for any health and safety hazards as well as problems that could affect plant production.

Within the warehouse, I operate in the shipping department moving packages to large carts that will be loaded onto lorries. As a team, we must make sure all the packages are on their respective lorries before they are due to depart. I am also trained on the Robotic Cell which organises shipments onto pallets. Once a pallet is full it is my job to remove the pallet from the Cell, replace it with a new pallet, and then prepare the removed pallet for transit to another facility. By being trained on this section I had to manage the general function of the Robotic Cell by monitoring it via computer. Dealing with any minor malfunctions from there.

Providing domestic care to vulnerable adults, assisting them and promoting independence in their daily lives.

I take customers orders for food and serve them their drinks. I also make sure the bar area is clean and kept at a good standard. I may also be needed to put outdoor furnishings away as we prepare to close the bar for the night.

At this job I went around the store and collect the products that had been ordered online by customers. Sometimes I would help out in our departments area to organise the orders for the drivers to deliver on their runs. I have also worked at the click and collect pod handing customers their orders when the come to pick them up from the store. In this role I am constantly in contact with customers and do my best to see that they have everything they came for and help with anything I can.
