From a young age, I was always interested in machines and mechanisms. I've always had a specialty with engineering, modifying, upgrading, maintaining and repairing. I have a handful of experience ranging from personal to team based spanning most of my life. In 6th and 7th grade, I participated in the First Lego League robotics team for my school. My dad and I have disassembled a variety of technology: Microwaves, Computers, Monitors, and more. I have built a total of 3 Desktop PC's and installed upgrades into many more. Recently, I competed in the 7th annual Gateway Arch National Park Engineering Competition, where I was a presenter for the Spark! River Tech team. In October and early November of 2023, I participated in the Wings of Hope: SOAR into STEM program based in Chesterfield, Missouri. I also recently undertook the personal project of building a go cart from scratch, where I will be welding, cutting, and assembling all systems of the cart.I enjoy a hands-on experience in order to build my knowledge as well as enhancing my problem solving abilities. I much prefer a hardware aspect over software but I learn quickly and can understand how to do things well. Through the Spark! Engineering program I seek to turn my skill set into a future career. I also am using LinkedIn to expand my connections and broaden my horizons.I am currently a junior at Parkway South High School. As such I am currently undecided on a college but i plan to major in either aeronautical or automotive engineering. I am also considering options for the Boeing pre-professional program based in St. Louis.
