As a kid whose room was covered in posters of pictures from around the world and who asked Santa for a globe for Christmas (yes, literally), I guess it was inevitable that I would end up working in the world of travel. When I chose International Relations as my college major, my "goal" was a career that was undoubtedly more dry and boring that what I stumbled into when I took my first job working at a hotel. Cut to today, I've had the great fortune to work for the leaders in luxury travel, meet some amazing people who share my passion, and see many of the destinations of my childhood posters. How lucky am I?!I love hotels. Its kind of an obsession. Between the superfluous travel magazine subscriptions, regular trolling of travel blogs for hotel reviews, and spending probably too much time checking out different hotel lobbies (and their bars from time to time) on vacation, its pretty clear this an industry I'm meant to work in.
