Most recently, maintained information systems for sales and customer access for Metso Classic Crusher equipment. Wrote and updated product manuals to comply with more current global standards. 1980-1985, I was a machinist and shop foreman at the company, then named Helser Machine Works. Became Inventory Manager and Quality Control Supervisor in 1985-1991.1991-1999, the company was purchased by ANI Ltd from Australia, and I continued as inventory manager as well as engineering support for development of hydraulic retrofit systems for Cone Crushers manufactured by Nordberg Manufacturing.1999-2013, the company was purchased by Nordberg Sales Corporation (company changed name to Metso in 2001) and I became Engineering Manager and Technical Sales Support Manager in the Portland Oregon office.

We were a very small shop at this time, and with only 3 employees in the machine shop we all had to take multiple responsibilities. I acted as machinist, material purchasing, shipping & receiving and shop cleanup.Later as the company grew, I became Inventory Manager, responsible for initiation and completion of shop work orders and purchasing requisitions for all of the parts inventory. We added consignment inventories at various locations in the USA, and part of my responsibility was to maintain and verify these inventories through annual physical counts at each location.
