Special Victims' Counsel (SVC) for Army-connected victims of sexual assault in the lower half of NY State, including NYC, Fort Hamilton and West Point, as well as the surrounding area including Fort Dix and parts of Massachusetts and Connecticut.Represented over 80 victims of sexual assault and sexual battery throughout the military justice process including providing legal advice, advocating on their behalf to the chain of command, and filing and arguing motions to protect their rights in court.Successfully argued several motions in court under Military Rule of Evidence 412 (rape-shield) and 513 (mental health records) to enforce protections of victim privacy.Supervised and trained one Army attorney who served as part time Special Victims' Counsel.Served as senior legal assistance attorney and assisted hundreds of Soldiers and dependents with personal issues involving consumer and bankruptcy law, family law, immigration issues, and social security claims.Successfully protected the careers of several Soldiers facing adverse administrative action.Achieved favorable outcomes for assault victims in criminal cases adjudicated by Court-Martial or other process.Filed numerous FOIA requests on behalf of victims and other clients.

Primary military prosecutor for US Army Garrison-Area I, 2nd Infantry Division Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, the 23rd Chemical Battalion, and the 194th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion in the Republic of Korea (ROK).Legal advisor to two brigade-level commanders (COL), three battalion commanders (LTC), and fourteen company commanders (CPT) on the full spectrum of legal issues, including military justice and administrative actions.Prosecuted felony sexual assault and drug distribution cases at Court-Martial.Reviewed non-judicial punishment and administrative separation actions; supervised two military paralegals.Worked closely with Army Criminal Investigative Division (law enforcement) agents in furtherance of criminal investigations.Conducted extensive research, case outlining, and witness interviews in preparation for trial.
