My current professional experience has centered around compliance, record keeping, HazMat documentation, and training. I have had the opportunity to serve as a Gas station supervisor and hazmat representative for the Fontana Costco for 3.5 years. During this time, I successfully managed and operated all levels of HazMat management and documentation, as well as compliance paperwork for all inspections and testing as required by AQMD, SWRCB, and CUPA. While serving in this role, I have been able to successfully educate myself on all levels of environments compliance as it pertain to Gas Station operations. I have had the opportunity to effectively initiate our warehouses integration into digital record keeping, using Costco's Integrated Management System (CIMS) as a platform for all of our documentation and record keeping. This position has also given me the ambition to start a business of my own, offering compliance services and inspections to Gas Stations in the greater Los Angeles area, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. In this capacity, I have successfully been certified through ICC as a Designated Operator and a Vapor Recovery Systems Repair Technician, Rule 461 gasoline transfer and dispensing certification through South Coast AQMD, and certified as a Weights & Measures Service Agent through the Department of Agriculture for the State of California. This is where the majority of my experience in Environmental Compliance has come from. Operating in this capacity has brought me diverse challenges and obstacles that has put me in a position to think critically, professionally, and in optimum time to provide the best service and compliance advice to my clients.
