• Autotask configuration and integration to improve scalability and employee utilization/efficiency• Management of IT personnel as the IT services division grew from 200 to over 1000 endpoints in one year• Responsible for the hiring, mentorship, and motivation of all IT services staff (went from 3 to 8 employees)• Designed and implemented a VoIP solution from concept to having over 1000 endpoints• Implementation of IT Glue and processes involved to allow the company to scale, as well as the process design required for sustained growth

• Project: Integrate General Motors axle assembly machinery with Ceva’s manufacturing ERP system• Development of software tools for plant supervisors (Assembly efficiency and various reporting information stored in SQL and displayed using Python/Flask libraries)

• Manage a mixed Windows/Linux server environment, with the Linux side running technologies such as DRBD, ZFS and KVM virtualization.• 50 user email migration to on-prem Exchange 2016 server from an 3rd party IMAP.• Hardware refresh of ~50 desktop PCs, including updating to Windows 10.• Implemented a new firewall solution to address the company outgrowing their previous equipment (Moved from Dell Sonicwall to a Juniper / Sophos configuration).• Migrated an existing SVN version control system to an onsite Git server (gitlab).

▪ Received 2010 President’s Platinum Award of Excellence for successfully launching the  Inteva Oshawa Camaro cockpit and headliner assembly lines in just 3 months.  This involved  taking a completely empty 125k square foot building and installing all necessary equipment  (including ethernet, hardware, and office equipment) and programming the MES system as  per work methods and procedures.    ▪ Oversaw and supervised the IT and PLC departments day to day tasks, scheduling, budget,  employee motivation and long term goals. • Assembled and installed all necessary infrastructure devices for the plants day to day operation. Two racks were filled with fully redundant solutions, with 100% fail-over capabilities.• Rapid success with ManIT MES programming software led to corporate requests to assist other plants across the United States with their programming projects and issues.

• Developed and programmed an intranet website that included document management and control features, KPI input and review features for mid-level management and upper management review, a company directory, and various scripts designed to help production staff with repetitive daily tasks. Staff efficiency was greatly improved by automating time consuming tasks.• Implemented a monitoring application that informed the appropriate personnel of any systems failures and notified them through text messaging, emails, and pagers. Almost 400 PRTG sensors were deployed to achieve this, response times were cut in half.
