After serving as a Communications Specialist in the Army Reserves for 6 years, I pursued a degree in Economics with a concentration in Marketing fueled by my interest in highlighting the measurable impact of future prosocial projects.I specialize in innovative and communications strategy and building community capacity skills for budding grassroots movements and emerging nonprofits. I am currently implementing them as a Digital Marketing Manager at Better Together America, Communications Coordinator at Team Democracy, and Social Enterprise Outreach Specialist at Tardigrade Development.By the time I was 23, I had reached the rank of Sergeant. As a civil servant, the experiences I had while serving have only solidified my belief in participatory democracy and have guided my future work. As an eternally renewing optimist, with a deep belief in supporting those who may not have the means to support themselves as they would like: making the world a better, happier place is the only path forward for me.My later work with Chabad Lubavitch of Northwestern Connecticut instilled in me an appreciation of how community can bring deep meaning and value to all human beings. As an Administrative Assistant for Chabad, I coordinated the Light up the Northwest Menorah Parade which still brings songs and gifts to hospital workers and patients across the Connecticut region. Working with Tardigrade Development has opened doors to allow me to continue to work with grassroots social enterprises, nonprofit leaders, and people who continue to inspire me to be a force for good.When I am not enabling my partner’s cat and sushi infatuation - I love to cook, explore wherever I am on a bicycle, show up for funk music dancing, support the LGBTIQ community, and conquer the Dota 2 map via my trusty sidekick: Puck.
