Within the role of a Senior, I am accountable for the day–to–day management of direct reports. An objective of mine is to Identify and deliver improvements to business processes to enhance the integration experience of clinics joining Medivet. I provide my integration knowledge and expertise to our M&A partners through end-to-end support to maximize and protect the value of their acquisitions forming part of the acquisition “deal team”. I am responsible for deploying key business systems and processes within our newly acquired or start-up practices, supporting the Integration Specialists to train, develop and coach all staff in acquired sites on Medivet systems and processes.

As an Acquisition Integrations Specialist, I deal with the pre and post-acquisition projects. My position takes me all over England, Scotland and Northern Ireland - Integrating and transitioning newly acquired veterinary businesses into Medivets corporate structure. I specialize in bringing not only the business but the existing colleagues into Medivets systems and processes. My day-to-day plans are to manage and keep milestones on track, I address or escalate issues or risks. I facilitate meetings in person or remote, regularly reporting progress. Pre, during and post-acquisition - I collaborate with the vendor and cross-functional teams to create and execute integration project plans.

As a committed Area Manager my duties were to support the Regional Director to provide them with a direct link to the in-practice nursing teams in the area.As well as managing the day-to-day running of practices and supporting the nursing team in all areas, I would take care of rotas to ensure all practices are always staffed appropriately.
