From food processing to drinking water to waste water to data center operation, to electronics manufacturing, solving complex, elusive problems and controlling pernicious water contaminants while achieving maximum efficient performance depends upon the understanding and integration of many scientific disciplines – inorganic and organic chemistry, biology, physics, electrochemistry, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics. Water is a remarkably dynamic amalgamation of species existing in constant equilibrium as a function of all of these properties, and bringing these properties into favorable balance requires correctly prescribed solutions that address the nuances of process design, flow, and operation.My affinity for problem solving challenging situations rests on my insatiable desire to learn, combined with a humble and circumspect attitude when applying the principles of water treatment.
