At Morvillo Abramowitz, I've had the opportunity to lead a team of paralegals through the preparations and execution of a complex criminal trial in federal court, in which our client was tried for a series of crimes related to a conspiracy. I reviewed thousands of documents in discovery for relevance, helped prepare the scripts of direct and cross-examinations used in litigation, organized our and the prosecution's exhibits, fielded any incoming production of documents from government prosecutors, and testified at the trial with regards to our firm's receipt of certain documents. In addition, my daily responsibilities have included: - Researching legal matters and cases- Reviewing complex internal documents- Performing background investigations of our client's professional and personal histories- Maintaining and organizing litigation documents- Filing documents to state and federal courts- [in interim] Managing firm's social media outreach and Forbes.com blog- [in interim] Assisting Marketing Director with a variety of budget and marketing related projects, such as ranking submissions
