I worked primarily with business owners and CEOs to find and craft new solutions for their business challenges. These solutions included: standardizing existing processes to increase ease of use and maintain single-voice reports; developing templates based upon the functional needs of multiple auditors/reviewers and implementing a process for ensuring accuracy and completion; and developing a curriculum for CRM implementation, then training the relevant people within the organization on its use.As a function of consulting independently, my business heavily relied upon the fact that I can stay flexible, learn new systems quickly and transfer what I've learned to the end user, and most importantly, genuinely wanting to help people improve.

I was brought in to ease the pains of a broken system and an understaffed inventory team. In my first three months, I learned a new system, I built a team of dedicated and hard-working associates, streamlined the on-boarding and training processes, and increased process efficiency by 150%. Some of my key responsibilities included collaborating across functional departments; working with the regional management team and corporate office to develop new systems and processes to increase efficiency; and managing administration for the inventory department (scheduling, budgeting, allocation of resources, tracking productivity and efficiency).

Moved to a struggling location that needed to restructure the inventory department. I helped design and implement the systems and processes for this project. Other key responsibilities included forecasting demand and coordinating with the inventory team in LA to ensure supply needs were met; controlling inventory levels to optimize turnover without sacrificing supply; collaborating with different functional groups within my location and the district management team; conducting interviews, employee training, on-boarding and developing employees; investigating inventory discrepancies, determining root cause and resolving those discrepancies; and consistently reducing shrink percentage lower than company-wide goals despite slowing retail sales in our region.
