About Ryan Mcmullan

Ryan Mcmullan is a Field Supervisor | Arctic Ocean at MISTRAS Group, Inc.. He possess expertise in team leadership, management, tenacious work ethic, leadership, customer service and 34 more skills. Colleagues describe him as "I met Ryan McMullan in 2007 when Ryan first came up to the North Slope (Arctic) of Alaska. I was the HSET Advisor for the contractor company that Ryan was coming up to the slope to work for. While doing the new hire orientation for Ryan and a handful of new hires, I soon realized Ryan McMullan wasn’t just another ordinary young man; Ryan is an exceptional young man. After watching Ryan develop over the years I started learning what it was about Ryan that made him stand out and excel above all of the other outstanding young people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and working with. Ryan is an excellent communicator, he is a man of good character, and obviously had been taught respect, discipline, and good solid work ethic at a young age; Ryan is a very driven, is an intelligent young man that has a strong will to learn. As Ryan’s leadership capability’s started to really develop, Ryan’s buy-in and support of the North Slope’s safety culture and his desire to help enhance and promote that safety culture with his co-workers helped move Ryan’s career from field inspector to a foreman’s role, and up into a management/supervisory position. Ryan has always been willing to help participate in our weekly safety meetings. It was always fun to have Ryan help facilitate these safety meetings because of the passion and spirit he would bring to these safety meetings. Ryan’s unique ability to communicate with everyone in the safety meeting audience, from the greenest new hire, up to the highest level of management. Ryan would always go above and beyond to ensure our meetings would provide good value and a learning experience for our team. After Ryan moved into a management/leadership role, I had the pleasure of working closely with Ryan on a daily basis, I observed how Ryan interacted with our senior management, the people that Ryan and I worked under, and the foreman level employees that worked under Ryan. This was very educational and an opportunity for me to learn from Ryan’s skills. Ryan was responsible to working hand-in-hand with the client, dealing with employee concerns/issues, equipment problems/issues, and a wide variety of other issues that come from working and living in remote location/camps and the most dangerous climate in the United States, and Ryan did all of these tasks with grace and care. Ryan McMullan is a true leader with incredible communications skills. Ryan is a problem solver and is able to maintain his composure under stressful and sometimes very difficult circumstances. He is a solid playmaker. If I was putting together a management team to run my organization, team, or company, Ryan McMullan would be the first person I would hire. I would bring Ryan on first so I would have a great leader/communicator to help me find the right people to finish assembling my new team. Sincerely, Calvin P. Larson " and " Ryan is the go to guy for better leadership! He is driven and compassionate making him THE best at bringing out your best. I wish Ryan had trained every manager I’ve ever had. He understands how to lead a team to greatness. Ryan is the man when it comes to promoting respect and integrity within each and every leader! If you want to build the highest preforming team. Give Ryan a call. You will not be disappointed! "
