I also collaborated on an agile team maintaining and improving the company's flagship application and developed a new version of the flagship application utilizing Ruby on Rails and Vue.js.

While at UPMC, I worked mainly on the frontend re-write for the consumer portal. I led the technical frontend implementation of the Spending & Claims line of business addition to the project. I also helped design and implement some of the templates used in the pattern library, which in turn populate the consumer portal through backend service data.

As a Phase 0 Guide with DBC, I acted as a teacher for students going through the 9-week remote phase before their time at a DBC campus. I helped students learn introductory skills with Git, Ruby, Javascript, HTML & CSS. I completed code reviews, worked as a guide for pairing sessions, and held office hours every week to help students with anything they might need.
