Implement HL7 interfaces for various healthcare clients nationwide. I am working on implementing HL7 interfaces using Epic Bridges. Sutter currently uses eGate as the middleware application between Epic and any of the downstream systems.

To date I've helped develop, test, and implement HL7 interfaces for Epic including ADT(in and out), Scheduling, Charges (in and out), Transcription, Documax scanned documents, Rad results, Lab results, and a bi-directional EMPI query interface between Epic and Initiate.

Implemented interfaces using Epic Bridges and the Rhapsody integration engine from Orion. I developed primarily interfaces having to do with the outreach program at Salem Hospital including lab orders, lab results, and inbound registration interfaces from external clients. I also supported all production interfaces and resolved errors.

Maintained hospital software for the Rehab and Home Care departments at Salem Hospital. Responsible for Level III support of applications, upgrading, and maintaing the software. Keeping up with maintenence contracts, developing future workflows, and improving upon current workflows.

Answer phones and troubleshoot software used at the hospital. Deploy and maintain workstation PCs throughout the hospital. Responsible for guiding and helping with 700-PC deploy.
