• Handle all sales inquiries and create take-off estimates based on plans and specifications or customer-provided information for budgetary quotes through firm bids or 100 percent CD drawings. Project sizes range from one-piece orders to 25,000 square feet of custom-cut and finished marble. • Create shop drawings and/or tickets for specific projects as well as creating CNC programs (Sirconv and AlphaCam) for automated cutting and shaping of specialty components to match existing one-of-a-kind architectural details • Track orders in house and develop lead times and shop schedules to complete work in the most efficient manner to increase productivity in a non-linear manufacturing environment• Handle all aspects of an order, from quoting, ticketing and stock selection to quality control, to make sure the finished product is of the highest quality
