Directing and managing the Quality Improvement program at Navos Inpatient Services. This includes: acting Inpatient manager for Joint Commission Standards, Department of Health, Department of Behavioral Health Resources and other regulatory agencies’ rules and regulations. Also in charge of reporting including HBIPs, incentive programs, and coordinating MIPS. Reports to the VP of Quality and Compliance and works closely with the Compliance team.

Empowering the client to take an active role in their own treatment planning, using motivational interviewing and strength based practices. To act as the advocate for clients in the treatment planning process and educate clients regarding the treatment plan content.

Integration of behavioral health and primary care. Continuity of care for involuntary court mandated clients, counseling (cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy), activities for daily living, and safety and security. Sit in on interviews on potential hires.Recruit potential clients through networking. Trainer for new employees (Instructing new hires on policy and procedures, tasks, on the job training, as well as leading by example.)Maintaining lines of communication open with difficult clients and negotiation skills.Substitute Legal Coordinator(Responsibilities included maintaining and filing clients legal paperwork, making sure doctors signed petitions, and correlating with expert witnesses for prosecution. Keeping window of communication with King county court. Knowing how to use Excel, other database programs, and Word were needed.) Substitute court transporter (Transporting clients to appointments and to Court. Keeping the client and public safe while out of the facility.)
