I am currently a student at Humber College in the Sports Management program. My future goal is to find a job that fits into something that’s been a piece of me my whole life…Sports. Growing up I devoted a lot of my time into watching any sports game no matter the situation. A story that can be laughed at now was when I was very young I was in the hospital for multiple days to have my kidney removed. The only thing I asked for was for them to turn on the Leafs game on the small TV in the corner of the room.While I have worked in the past (Halton Hills Eagles Baseball) but don’t currently work right now, my goal is to gain experience in the realm of sports. My hope is to one day be apart of a Management or Analytics team that can provide me with the experience to then become a Sports Leader of my own.I’ve always wanted to work in sports, growing up I got to see how the Scotiabank Arena removes the court and places the ice onto it to switch games. Stuff like that is what intrigues me the most and what I hope to work on in the near future. I am very self-motivated, easygoing and accessible in my work. I strive to always give 100% effort into any tasks that are presented to me. Using my strengths and my quiet but respectful attitude my hope is to do work that truly makes me happy.My journey is still very young, I am a part time coach for one of my town’s younger baseball teams. Teaching them everything I’ve learned from the beautiful sport and passing it all down is something that I truly devote to and appreciate the most. That’s why I want to work in the world of sports. Sports are a huge part of my everyday life. Whether it’s watching, playing or talking about them, it’s what I love. Working for something you love to me is easily what separates workers. People are more motivated and enjoy the work more when it involves their interest. Which is why I enjoy being a coach and working for the Halton Hills Eagles so much, it strives me to be a better and more efficient person.I want to build up my experience that best I can. That's why I am open to different volunteer options and internship placements that revolve around Management and Planning along with Analysis and Coaching.I hope to reach new levels in the future!
