During this full-time 16 week bootcamp I've- Collaborated effectively in multiple teams- Become familiar with loads of new concepts, skills and languages for example: - JavaScript/TypeScript - Node.js - React.js - Next.js - Docker - AI (built a chatbot using Next.js, React and OpenAI) - Shift left mentality for testing, design and security - Effective Pair Programming.- Delivered numerous projects in an Agile way in limited time, focusing on early delivery of value- Presented the projects confidently and in an engaging way.- Expanded on the meta skill of learning how to learn, I don't pretend to know it all, but I am very good at finding out what I need to know and then applying it.

During my time with Motability I was a core member of the IT Operations team, being the first Scrum Master in that area, and one of two for the majority of my time there. In my time there I:- Led the Network Engineering and Container Platform teams in adopting Agile methodologies, introducing Scrum practices and improving processes to enhance team collaboration and efficiency.- Acted as an Agile Coach, providing guidance and support to other teams across the organization, helping them implement Agile principles and optimize their ways of working.- Collaborated with other Scrum Masters in the business to ensure best practices were being followed and to share knowledge across the business.- Utilized Jira to manage sprints and backlog, ensuring transparency and alignment across teams.- Facilitated meetings and workshops using Miro and other collaboration tools, driving productive discussions and problem-solving sessions.- Focused on continuous improvement, empowering teams to self-organize, adapt, and consistently deliver value.

I was contacted by one of the founders of Leaf on a recommendation from a director of Holiday Extras. As a small growing team, they lacked structure and needed guidance to optimise their internal processes and client relations. In my short time with them I:- Improved team performance and focus by reviewing workload and helping the team prioritise it effectively. - Improved client confidence by working closely with them to ensure the correct work was in progress, and managing expectations- Worked with the founders to manage their workloads, allowing them to focus on business growth.

Working as an Agile Coach I again got to work with many teams. Our team of 3 worked with 15 teams in the web department as well as many others across the business,including HR, Finance and Commercial. - Assessing teams from both an Agile maturity and delivery perspective.- Using Jira metrics, coaching and facilitation to improve performance. - Introducing teams to Agile, working with their existing processes.- Facilitating meetings at all levels of the business.

As a Scrum Master, I worked primarily with one team at a time, refining their processes, encouraging communication within and without the team and managing relationships with stakeholders.- Facilitated engaging Scrum ceremonies to maximise participation.- Focused on enabling team members to solve their own problems, reducing bottlenecks and improving efficiency.- Working as a servant leader, I set a clear example, distributing responsibility, and ensuring we all held each other to account.

After the buyout of Essential Travel, I moved to Kent and joined Holiday Extras (HX) as a Project Manager. HX, being a much bigger company, required me to be able to communicate clearly and coordinate teams across the entire business. Projects completed included:- Integrating the email team with Responsys to optimise email marketing.- Migrating Merchant Services Provider for all sites to WorldPay.- Various white labels for partner sites to be able to sell our products.
