Managed a team of three operators providing 24 hour operations for the core iSeries hardware and core application for Republic Bank. Directed the workload and optimized operational procedures and documentation between multiple LPARs and between our main production site and disaster recovery site. Planned, coordinated, developed, executed, and documented our disaster recovery plan through MIMIX software to prove the high availability of our bank's core application and functionality. Worked with all business sections of the bank that had a stake in our core system to test and install quarterly and annual updates for the core application. Optimized our tape management and vault backups for critical libraries and files.

Provided dedicated L1 and L2 support to multiple business areas within Republic Bank. Ensured each business team had maximum uptime for their critical production applications. Coordinated and executed the installation of the Mortgage Loan Origination System that allowed Republic Bank to achieve and maintain its role as the top mortgage lender in Kentucky for 2 years. Worked with our internal users and external vendors to research, investigate, and resolve production issues within given service level agreements. Managed the updating and upgrading of all systems within my purview to keep system availability and functionality optimal.

Us Military Post

Responsible for the health of the Southwest Asia Network by quick response to network outages across multiple regional network nodes as well as bolstering of pre-existing network infrastructure and providing timely response to individual users. Provided 24-hour network monitoring supporting on-going operations in Southwest Asia giving guidance in troubleshooting, implementation, and reporting requirements.Developed best practices and contingency communications plans to ensure timely, uninterrupted communications to all users.Implemented and assessed contracted work production measures supporting a multi-national coalition headquarters.Coordinated with numerous departments to improve the power infrastructure supporting Cisco Switches and Servers resulting in the stabilization of power distribution. Chosen out of 10 High performing Junior and Mid-Level Officers to be the Executive Assistant to the first British General Officer assigned to III Corps and Fort Hood as the Deputy Commanding General for Support. Successfully integrated the first British General Officer into the III Corps and Fort Hood Enterprise Network.Coordinated multiple high level Sustainment and Logistics meetings and conferences to increase the logistic capabilities of III Corps units and installations encompassing domestic and international lines of support. Managed daily calendar requirements of professional, and personal, responsibilities to include supporting the multiple cultural and community events increasing the relationship between III Corps and Fort Hood and the surrounding cities, counties, and community.Mentored a small team of 3 support Soldiers de-conflicting requirements of precarious work hours, team member’s professional growth, as well as personal ambitions allowing the successful promotion of one Non-Commissioned Officer. Represented III Corps, Fort Hood, and the United States Army as the point of contact for visiting Senior Executive Service members, General Officers, Congressmen, Senators, and foreign Dignitaries and Delegations. Resourced, planned, managed, and executed multiple visits of VIPs to include the Chief of Staff of the Army, Estonian Chief of Defense, and the British Military Attaché resulting in the increased partner relationship between the United States Military and our NATO allies during a time of diplomatic tension in Western EuropeManaged a small group of Soldiers to support the material needs of visiting VIPs to include housing, transportation, communications, and sustenance.

Fort Hood, Texas

Managed the deployment and installation of $26 Million dollars of tactical Wide Area Network communications nodes. Managed 10 teams with direct accountability over 77 personnel. Served as liaison and consultant between multiple organizations and departments throughout the U.S. III Armored Corps, to include the Medical unit tasked to address the issue of Ebola in Western Africa.Led planning, logistics, and operational support of a total of 12 different organizations with Secure and Non-Secure Internet Protocol Routing, Secure and Non-Secure Voice over IP telephony capabilities, throughout Texas and California.Assigned to investigate allegations of the violation of Equal Opportunity incident within the unit resulting in the proper application of the Army’s Regulations concerning the equal treatment of all Soldiers, and the improvement of unit morale.Organized inter-agency cooperation in inspecting and implementing best practices for our unit’s maintenance program. Implemented a training schedule increasing classroom instruction by 80 hours per quarter per Soldier, directly improving team member ability to troubleshoot networking issues and job performance.Addressed and locally resolved an Army wide maintenance hazard with a Net Centric Waveform modem allowing for the continuous and safe operations of 11 mobile satellite platforms.
