Throughout my tenure with the company, I have assumed pivotal roles in developing, implementing, and executing procurement strategies across three global territories, driving year-over-year cost savings and fostering supply chain excellence. My main roles at NSE included breaking down and tendering multiple pages of customer product specifications supplied by our design department. These are then tendered to suppliers across the world to ensure best pricing, logistical delivery across the world and implemented supply lines before being issued as quotes.Responsible for over £3.5 million pounds worth of customer quotations during 2014. Ranging over 135 bespoke quotations.The materials range from simple extruded acrylic 'POP' stands to all forms of in-store joinery and metalwork.Project Managed items from design conception, manufacture, delivery and installation to the customer. This included working closely with Boots/Walgreens on their No7 range, Dixons (DGSi) airport fittings and Sainsbury's Account Managers. Ensure complacently of Design drawing packs and offer value engineered suggestions.Creation of cost tables and quotes that include all packaging, in-store installation and delivery costs for the customer.Entering various e-Auctions for large tenders.Suggestions on value engineering and significant cost reduction to our customers. Using my strong analytical skills I created and maintained order analysis table, which is used by the Purchasing Manager during negotiations in performance and cost reduction.Regularly tasked with item creation and maintenance upon the IFS procurement system, which often requires multiple designations of supply and BOM’s due to ever changing manufacturing requirements.As of August 2014 I was assigned Purchasing duties due to my pervious roles and to date have achieved a cost saving of £50,000+ due to negotiation, item re-working and system management.Within my purchasing duties I must manage and ensure culpability of manufactured goods, often comprising of multi-level BOMs and structures that must be delivered to a CPA for installation and manufacturing.

P&B – the most versatile contact assembly manufacturer in Europe. With a global market of over 200 customers spread across 30 different countries and with over 50 years of experience in contact manufacturing, P&B's knowledge in assisting customers with design of their products and introducing cost down ideas is unsurpassed. My role as Buyer within the Whitstable depot of P&B includes pricing and calculating customer requests of base and precious metals. I utilize a unique management supply based timeline to ensure a 'just in time' method of delivery and supplier/customer shared knowledge which, in turn is used to create and maintain the company's overall item manufacturing plan. I also liaise between departments any changes to our order structure as well as creating stock KPI's.

Buyer for Carousel Logistics. Carousel designs, implements and manages smart, integrated logistics solutions for organisations with a demanding distribution or warehousing requirements.My primary role in the two man purchasing team at Carousel was to monitor and control all stock one of the company's key accounts, this included being a direct point of contact to the customer, overseeing and ordering stock, setting up and liaising with supplier accounts, running credit checks, creating technical specifications and maintaining KPI's across all areas.Other internal jobs included specifying and ordering all purchases within the company, this ranged from sundry and stationary items to computer suits and large bespoke packaging requirements for over one hundred items. I was also given the role of creating and maintaining an overhead contract system which held all company overheads contractual status' including; start/end dates, meeting arrangements and internal planning/movement.
