Bone Densitometry Technologist

• Lead and manage day to day operations of the food grade teaching laboratories and coordinate key tasks with lab assistants.• Provide support and advice to students and staff regarding all food related matters.• Ensure health and safety at all times e.g., maintain rigorous food safety plans, ensure correct personal protective equipment, identify hazards/risks, and utilise corrective actions. • Liaise with key stakeholders and external food companies regarding outcomes, resources, product selection, maintenance and equipment.• Develop and Implement outreach programs to local schools and national wananga • Organise key marketing events and promotion of Food Science.• Ensure all projects are on schedule, resources have been purchased within budget, fit for purpose and within time constraints. Monthly receipting using Finance One software. • Develop and maintain a presence on social media platforms (Facebook/Instagram)
