CurrentCONNECTION OFFERS MANAGER 2020 to Present Since starting with the business, I have thoroughly enjoyed understanding the business to the extent that I am enthusiastic about what I do and actively seek improvement and change in line with business requirements.• Have been the first point of contact for customers wishing to make applications and have had ownership of the customer relationship and commercial contract up to the point of acceptance, and also support our CRM team, post acceptance. These strong relationships have provided the basis for impressive results from the Quality of Connections Survey incentive for RIIO T2.• Regularly consult with internal and external stakeholders such as developers, system planning, development, commercial policy, regulation, engineering and ESO to ensure up to date and accurate information is provided in the connection agreements.• Work well with peers and senior management in other parts of the business including senior management and provide valuable and relevant input when required especially from a contractual point of view ensuring our contractual position is sound and reflects the customers intentions and requirements, as well as the business’s requirements to mitigate any financial risk or otherwise.• Have effectively helped to manage some of the largest industry initiatives such as ESO’s Stability Pathfinder, Scotwind Offshore Connections and INTOG, with a good understanding of emerging technologies such as hydrogen, carbon capture and large scale data demand centres.• Have been actively involved in a process improvements and change programmes and have initiated a new project called TOUCAN which takes a deep dive into what we do and why we do it, providing extracts from CUSC and STC with a view to making ongoing improvements and taking into consideration upcoming Connection Reform and other industry changes.
