Part of the Executive Committee leading the resort to continued success. Created award winning Recreation Programs (RCRA and ARDA Awards) with a fabulous team of talented individuals. I had the pleasure of hosting multiple special events including pool parties with 200 plus attendees along with being the opening "act" with the FUN Team for multiple corporate presentations. Designed, Developed and Lead Family Focused Programs that allowed us to have one of the top five department customer satisfaction scores on our resort. Achieved a 100% score two years in a row on our Employee Engagement Survey. Adopted the 4 Disciplines of Execution philosophy with our team and improved our mini golf participation by 50%. Was asked to join multiple brainstorming/vision groups throughout my career with Marriott/Sheraton/Vistana including most recently the Brand Ambassador group working on creating Sheraton Vacation Club's Brand.

The joy of personalizing connections for each of the Wish Children coming with their families from around the world was the best part of my role at GKTW. I was also very proud of getting Disney Costuming involved with GKTW to get professionals designing and creating multiple Character Costumes and outfits for each special occasion including the nightly Tuck-Ins done by Mayor Clayton, Ms. Merry and Murphy the Gingerbread Man. I truly enjoyed meeting and leading over 350 volunteers weekly to make sure that all of our Wish Children and their families had a lifetime of memories to take home with them.

My first interaction with DCL was as the President of Anchor Consulting, Inc. when they invited us to a week-long introduction for outside recruiting companies. During that week DCL made an offer I just couldn't turn down to be more involved with the first two Disney Cruise Line Ships ever and I got "onboard". I thrived as we recruited and trained talented people from all over the world to open these magical and wonderful ships. Leading the Cruise Staff, Teen, Tween, Youth and Nursery Programs was just the start, being involved with the out island programming and the Shore Excursion operations and overseeing the Spa onboard opened my world to the Disney Way and the joy of sharing that while creating moments and memories for all who cruised with us.

I knew when I was 16 that I would own my own company and Anchor Consulting, Inc. came to life when I came shoreside after NCL. This company allowed me to do so many things in the recreation world from hosting the recreation programs for all ages at the Tri-State Camp GIZMO - helping special needs children and their families to contracting with Norwegian Cruise Line and Royal Viking Line to recruit, train, schedule and lead their entire fleet of Cruise Staff and Youth Coordinators.

Within 6 months of starting with NCL as a Seasonal Youth Coordinator, I requested and received the position of recruiting for all of the Seasonal Youth Coordinators and within a year took on the fleet wide training program. My 8 years with NCL and RVL was truly a dream come true as I traveled the world, met extraordinary people, had phenomenal mentors and an exceptional cultural experience.
