Develop, integrate, support, and maintain real-time package sortation systems. Our systems aredesigned to be highly-scalable, highly reliable, and require no user intervention as they are missioncritical for the sortation of packages. · Numerous development projects in VB, C#, Delphi, and Free Pascal. · Use of the MySQL database in almost all of our projects. · Developed a data collection system that gathers critical system information from all of our machines. · Developed a DB maintenance system that checks and maintains the integrity of our databases. · Worked closely with a front-end web developer in numerous data gathering/ reporting projects. · Experience integrating with various external hardware including serial, PS2, and USB bar-code scanners and printers. · Group based work that includes working directly with PLC developers as well as front-end web designers. · On-site integration all over the U.S. as well as an international site in Dusseldorf, Germany. · My team of 15 people provides 24x7 support to all UPS automated facilities.

For my time at Atronix I was a contractor for UPS doing everything described above until I was hired directly by UPS.

Worked on a small team of people who developed, tested, and supported the company’s flagship application - an office management system for dental professionals aimed at users of all skill levels. · Maintained and enhanced existing flagship application with a small team of developers. · Worked closely with the support department to find, fix, and test bugs as well as new enhancements. · Developed a VBA template that allowed our end users to create form letters that interfaced with our Pervasive 6 database. · Maintained existing and developed new reports in a large library of Crystal Reports that the software utilized. · Technical support for our national customer base. · Training sessions with our new customers.
