Vigoro Canada Inc., Tillsonburg Ontario Director of Marketing 1996 – 2001Vigoro Canada is a National Canadian-based garden fertilizer and allied product company. • Managed three product brands and their marketing strategies involving pricing, advertising, website management and required governmental compliance. Assisted sales in presenting to Costco, Home Depot, Canadian Tire, Home Hardware and other large distributors as well as independent dealers.• Established targeted media campaigns, developed new promotions and oversaw all advertising and trade show participation. Liaised with company executives and ad agencies to create marketing plans, seek approval on designs and negotiate contracts and timelines.• Created over 100 customized dealer newsletters for an annual print run over one million pieces . This was part of a National Dealer Network program comprised of private label packaging, sales tools, online and print media, television and radio campaigns.
