As a 3rd year Athletic therapy student at York University I was placed with the women’s varsity basketball team.On-court medical coverage under the supervision of a certified Athletic Therapist.In-clinic supervised treatment of varsity athletes. Including but not limited to soft tissue treatment, exercise prescription, modality use, and RTP protocols following concussion and other injuries.Communication with supervising ATs and Physicians regarding athlete health and injury status.Proficient use of Jane app for charting and scheduling treatments.Communication with coaching staff and athletes regarding rehabilitation process, injury status, and return to play plans.
