I fulfilled the role of ICT Customer Relationship Manager For NEL from August 2017. My role included account management responsibilities for both Corporate IT and GPIT supporting Northamptonshire CCG with their ICT services. My role included close working relationships with our CCG colleagues, our 69 local GP Practices and wider STP partner Organisations.

I have recently completed a 2 year secondment as Deputy Head of Clinical Systems for Arden and GEM CSU. From April 2017 I have returned to my substantive position as IM&T Team Manager.

I acted as Deputy Head of Clinical Systems supporting the role out of digital initiatives and projects across primary care in Northamptonshire. I led a large team of trainers, facilitators, projects managers and IT Technicians to deliver both core and additional services across the local GP estate.

My role has developed from Summary Care Project Manager to IM&T Team Manager for the IM&T GP Support Team. The GP Support Team provides IM&T Clinical Systems Support to GP Practices across Northamptonshire, including, support with their clinical systems, smartcards, system migrations, interface support with system suppliers and support with the roll out of.

I was successful in gaining a promotion into this Programme Workstream role, building on the experience gained as a facilitator within the team I was able to progress at pace and lead a number of successful Projects and Clinical System migrations end to end.

An opportunity became available within the local Primary Care Trust working back in the projects and National Programme for IT (NPfIT) sector and I was fortunate to be successful in gaining this position and furthering my career within Primary Care.

I relocated to Northampton from the Isle of Wight in 2006. I was keen to continue my career within the NHS and broaden my experiences of working within secondary care.
