I provided quality and technical support, managed the lean/continuous improvement program (PPI) and championed improvement activities in the manufacture of aseptically filled and terminally sterilised pre-prepared culture media for use in medical diagnosis, industrial quality control and research purposes.I qualified as a Senior PPI Process Manager and gained international experience and the capability to lead leaders to facilitate and train multifunctional teams in the eight step structured problem solving method.

I led a team of process engineers in the Technical Development department in Worthing Primary Operations to support the day-to-day manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients, improve process safety knowledge and engagement, and identify and deliver business improvements using lean six sigma principles.

Port Fairy, Australia

I was a process engineer within the Technical Development team at the Port Fairy Primary Operations site, responsible for developing and optimising extraction, purification and isolation processes for the opiates business. I worked closely with the site's development chemists to take new processes from lab to pilot and then into full-scale production. I was also the site solvent recovery expert where I developed AspenPlus models for various distillation columns on site. In addition I have knowledge and experience in the delivery of capital projects from the ideation stage through to commissioning and qualification and into beneficial use.
