I have experience of delivery planning. In my current role as a logistics planner I am responsible for the daily planning, progression, receipt and processing of beer and mineral orders for a major independent northern brewery. I deal with key suppliers such as Inbev and Heineken on a daily basis in order to schedule and track orders and I coordinate stock control and call offs; monitoring of pallets, cans and kegs. I also request quotations and place orders with packaging companies such as SAICA Limited.I produce logistics information on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis. This includes schedule creation, adherence and reporting of sales targets, returns and losses. I ensure that this is gathered and distributed regularly and accurately to all relevant local management including the Production Director.I carry out regular stock checks and stock control activities and carry out investigations to track and resolve any errors that are identified. I ensure that all logistics information is recorded accurately in order to produce daily, weekly and monthly average and actual sales and losses reports
