CurrentResponsible for all HR and HSE functions at the manufacturing site. Coordinate HR and Health & Safety practices in the UK to ensure compliance with regional and European regulations and requirements. • Partner with European senior management to assess skill gaps and proactively develop a European talent development strategy to resolve weaknesses.• Oversee HR strategy development, organisational development, change management initiatives, workforce planning, and Diversity & Inclusion strategies.• Guide senior management on data analytics, HR metrics, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), and current technology to sustain data-driven decision-making.• Direct the cross-functional Human Resources and Health & Safety team to work collaboratively through knowledge sharing and open communication.• Compile all HR metrics including staff turnover, retention, and leavers. Offer recommendations for improvement, evaluate the reward function, and implement changes.• Coordinate success across the UK site during periods of change management through focused recruitment while addressing employee and management issues.• Create a holistic DEI strategy to promote diversity and champion an inclusive work culture through training, open communication, and mentorship programmes.• Investigate the root causes of absenteeism to identify trends and launch preventative measures such as the skills-based training course Mental Health First Aiders.• Reinforce the HR brand both internally and externally through a holistic company culture focused on the mission, values, and objectives of the company.• Serve on the Employee Forum and Joint Negotiation Committee to lead salary negotiations, policy review, and contractual change negotiations.
