As a sim and kart racer, I am passionate about pursuing a professional career in esports and real-life motorsport. My goal is to compete at the top of the sport whilst providing value to partners and sponsors.Starting sim racing in October 2023, before my 16th birthday, I have demonstrated skill and consistency to ascend online ratings rapidly and now rank in the top 5 worldwide of 180,000+ users in the Low Fuel Motorsport racing community, on the Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC) platform. (November 2024)In June 2024 I was selected to join Visceral Esports.In 2024 I’m racing in the LFM Pro Series, and other community races including SRO. I achieved P11 overall in my first season (season 14) in the Pro Series and P9 overall in Season 15 which included my first LFM Pro Series podium (P2) in September 2024.At the recent VCO LFM Infinity Event, I secured a race win at Bathurst, and our Visceral team came 5th overall.Representing SPQR Racing - I took P1 in the SRO Community World Challenge 2024. Currently P2 in LFM Pro Series (Season 16).I also compete in the Global Karting League:UK National Championship (Junior) in 2024. As a podcaster and content creator, I host ‘The Sam Gaskell Podcast’ on my YouTube channel, where I also post hot laps. I am also a young persons mental health and well-being advocate, having self-coached myself from extreme low mood/depression to renewed self-confidence through motorsport. I aim to inspire and empower others who face similar challenges and show them the positive impact of racing.
