Supervised custom, high-end residential projects ranging in size from $1.5 to $8 million. Responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities and related efforts from inception to completion, including: • Managing schedule and budget with commitment to deliver results on time and under budget • Writing RFIs and approving shop drawings and layouts • Installing layout rods • Aligning with clients, architects, designers and others to ensure clients’ goals are being met• Directing field personnel; training and mentoring as needed • Nurturing subcontractor relationships; recommending vendors and suppliers as appropriate • Planning, coordinating and overseeing subcontractors • Ensuring all work conforms to plans and specifications, as well as company quality standards• Documenting project via daily reports on staffing and progress to maximize predictability • Communicating with project team regarding changes in plan, schedule and/or cost • Managing inspection process with local and county municipalities • Scheduling material orders and deliveries

Led carpentry work and provided project oversight, including: • Assigning tasks to the project team• Creating and adjusting project schedules• Ordering materials as needed • Supervising field carpenters, unskilled and semi-skilled laborers, and subcontractors

Performed carpentry duties, including both rough and finish carpentry, as well as small project supervision for jobs including remodels, ground-up construction and hardscapes.
