Served 8 years in the British Army. 4 years served with the Royal Engineers, as an Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) Draughtsman. I worked on a lot of technical drawing projects using the program AutoCAD, during that time. During my last 6 months with the corps, I deployed to Oman, overseeing teams of 5-10 locally employed contractors on different construction sites around the country. Transferred over to the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (REME), as a Vehicle Mechanic (VM), early 2019. I have a lot of experience with military vehicles such as Land Rover (all variants), 3/4t trailers, MAN SV 6t, Bulldog, Warrior, Jackal & Coyote. As a Class 2 VM, I am expected to teach and mentor the junior Class 3 VMs to broaden their trade knowledge on maintaining our fleet of 80+ vehicles. I've acquired most of my driving qualifications through the army. Currently hold B, C+E, and H. I've also had a lot of experience driving all these different platforms of vehicles for the army, on and off road. I have an NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance I'm not only looking for careers in the automotive industry. I've got a ton of experience in challenging environments, therefore I am open for any new opportunities. I am passionate to learn a completely new trade, and broaden my skill set.
