o Be the point of contact in identifying and initiating operational procurement needs by coordinating with security, programmatic staff, and support staff. o Assist in procurement actions, by soliciting and evaluating bids/proposals/quotations to ensure overall competitiveness, quality, and conformity to specified requirements. o Compile and present procurement data, prepare all relevant supporting documents and recommend approval of the contract or purchase order to his supervisor. o Maintain an accurate and up to date filing system for all local procurement documentation. o Provide records of procurement goods received and onward movement’s documents.o Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to solicit quotations, coordinate work, and ensure payments are received for operational procurements o Work closely with those individuals managing the programmatic and research procurements to ensure that they are all processed and documented in the same manner and upholding the same standards of quality.
