Work with UK and Asia Sales teams as a Technical Sales resource and cover traditional Pre-Sales/Sales Engineer duties including product demos, requirements analysis and design of solution sets.Produce technical documentation and designs for customers following successful sales engagements, managing these projects from initial customer engagements through to deployment before handing off to support. Carry out Proof Of Concept implementations of software solutions to customer environments and generally acting as the customers Technical Account Manager during the complete sales cycle.Review new vendors and existing vendor new releases to on-board them into the product suite offered by the business. Provide a technical resource to the marketing department, producing whitepapers and information used on websites and mail distributions. Provide consultancy services and implementation resources either remotely or on-site to new and existing HANDD Business Solutions customers.

· Plan and manage large scale global hosted software upgrades · Architect new network, hardware and software deployment solutions for new and existing trading venues. Planning the configuration, deployment and managing these projects through to completion. · Architect and manage underlying operating system migrations from Solaris to Linux of global hosted market data system components. · Own, plan and maintain BCP records and activities for worldwide trading venues. · Global escalation point for hosted software deployment and configuration issues · Responsible for troubleshooting and fast resolution of reported faults escalated by support teams. · Architect new network, hardware and software deployment for new hosted datacentres in multiple regions: Santiago, New York, Frankfurt and additional sites in the UK. · Worked alongside development teams to create automation tools to assist with the deployment, configuration and update of hosted software.

· Implement and maintain connections from hosted client systems to exchanges and other venues for trading and market data· Upgrading Fidessa's hosted global Market Data systems including liaising with other teams inside and outside of Fidessa to resolve issues during rollout and testing · Manage the delivery of large scale hosted software upgrades from initial testing through to production rollout as well as smaller scale software patch and mandatory type releases· Scheduling and managing smaller scale software patch and mandatory releases from testing and original inception through to production release· Owning a 'To Do' list and follow a schedule of work, keeping management and delivery management informed with regularity· Management & Delivery of specific projects, such as the remote deployment of new hosted software solutions in newly acquired datacentres such as Mumbai, Sao Paulo. · Daily error checking, diagnostics and monitoring of complex ticker plant installations · Offering knowledge and assistance to support teams
