Sam Miller is a Will Call Counter Sales at Steiner Electric. Colleagues describe them as "Samuel Miller participated in our internship program at Hoop Brothers in the Summer of 2023. Samuel was an immediate intern favorite and culture fit by showcasing his apparent love for the game of basketball and being able to showcase and highlight the sport through video editing, his tenaciousness and veracity to learn and grow which is demonstrated in his eagerness to try new things and challenge himself with multiple independent and creative projects, and his uplifting and contagious positive attitude which was represented in his leadership throughout the internship. During his time here, Samuel was a complete pleasure to work with, bringing dedication, strong organizational skills, and a refreshing level of self reliance and focus. Samuel was brought on to fill our content creation and video editor internship position in which he was responsible for supporting our video director’s quarter 3 goals in increasing brand awareness, building strong relationships with our partnerships, and fulfilling video orders for our clients. Samuel was well organized, timely, and effective in producing his projects that met and surpassed our quality assurance checks. As his skills developed in the production of his video projects, Sam was a clear standout amidst our other interns in the same role. When he had questions or needed clarity on tasks, he effectively communicated with his leadership team. Samuel also participated in multiple group projects in which his leadership was apparent and directly contributed to the success of his group, in both cases. One of our core values at Hoop Brothers is collaboration and Sam showcased this value consistently in his leadership approach and in celebrating his other interns and their contributions as well. Lastly, Samuel was a task list assassin. Not everyone is able to operate so effectively in a remote type setting, however, Samuel excelled. His level of organization, time management, and ability to communicate, and turn out projects quickly, made Samuel such a standout intern. It was easy to rely on Sam and without his support, we wouldn’t have had such a successful quarter. Samuel’s veracity to learn and grow, his innate ability to be self-motivated and organized, and the dedication he brought to this internship, makes him an asset for any company and I wholeheartedly recommend him for any endeavor he chooses to pursue.
